Out of Gas

From the Artist:

“The camel in my drawing was photographed during a zoo trip in Wroclaw Poland, a few years ago. I was moved by the purely exhausted look about the camel, with it’s flopped hump, and my imagined thought of his face forward collapse into the sand, thus, the title “Out of Gas”. A special thank you to Carol Whitehead for donating the beautiful frame. (25″ X 22″)

I work mainly in colored pencil, often choosing my subject material from nature, and to this day, this is my favored work of art, as it is, of many. Several people are in the possession of a much smaller version of this print, but this is the first print issued in this size. I am honored to have this drawing featured in a book by the Colored Pencil Society of America entitled Signature Showcase.”
