Our next clean-up event to spruce up our future riverfront park has not been announced.  Please contact us to be added to the e-mail listing for notification.

Due to the hazards on the site, the event will be limited to adults and older children that are closely supervised by a responsible adult.

We Did IT!!!!

We managed to do what few thought was possible:  The Aspinwall Marina has been acquired and is now on its way to becoming a premier waterfront park.  Thanks to all who have helped us accomplish this wonderful task!! 

Contributions Needed for Phase I Work to Begin

There’s little doubt the greatest hurdle we faced was raising enough money to purchase the property under such a tight deadline.  However, there’s still a great deal to be done before we can break ground on converting the Marina into a park.   Your financial support is still needed.

The Aspinwall Riverfront Park Project has partnered with two local non-profits that collect money specifically on behalf of the project.   The links below are a safe way to make a donation through either the Fox Chapel District Association or Friends of the Riverfront websites.  Click below and follow the easy step by step instructions to make your donation.

We need volunteers to help with data entry and mailing.  Please contact us to help with these tasks.

The marina and it’s surrounding acreage is undergoing a transformation.  The community’s interest in using the property right away is understandable and the transition from private usage to public access is underway.  The property must be redesigned to ensure safe access and to protect the interests of marina customers.
